HSS-E Cobalt = hardness 65 HRC, to machine steels up to 1000 N/mm², cast iron up to 180 HB, copper, brass, bronze, aluminium.

The magafor centre drill with radius thanks to its special profile, is more robust than the 60° centre drill :
the radius eliminates the risk of breakage
it provides an exact bearing
it serves as a protective chamfer.
